Martha Deeds

Martha Deeds, originally from northern Virginia, grew up riding horses. She has shown and competed all her life, starting out in the hunter/jumper world. However, when college brought her to Colorado, she found her passion in eventing and has been teaching and training along the front range ever since.

She has brought along numerous horses to the Preliminary and Intermediate level, completing a CCI* in 1997. She has worked with numerous trainers but has a true camaraderie with her mentor, world class trainer and former British team member, Eric Horgan, who resides in England.

Eric comes to her Middle Ground Farm in Larkspur for 3 clinics per year. Martha loves to teach and truly believes that she can keep learning to help others learn more, regardless of whether they want to compete. All levels of horses and riders are welcome!
